Computer Pony promotes Park's special qualities
It’s a fun zone complete with a virtual pony game, but it has a serious purpose. The New Forest National Park Authority has launched a new interactive section on its website full of games, quizzes and information.
In the pony game, visitors can name and look after their own pony, helping it to avoid hazards such as traffic, litter, picnic snacks and fallen acorns.
Amanda Elmes, Education Officer for the New Forest National Park Authority, said: ‘We have developed the Fun Zone on our website to give people of all ages the chance to learn in an enjoyable way about what makes the National Park special.
‘The virtual pony game is great fun to play but it also gives important messages about how we can all help to look after the Forest’s most famous residents. There is also lots of interesting information about the Forest’s seasons, wildlife and much more.’
